 It's that time again. We're hosting the 30th reunion of the Class of 1978. For this reunion we thought we'd keep it very casual and enjoyable, so dress in comfy clothes and plan to have a good time! We've kept costs low so it doesn't hurt the pocketbook too much to attend. As you can see above, we're even contacting our former teachers to see who would like to visit with us so we can see if they've changed as much as we have. Date/Time: October 11, 2008 7:30 - 11:30 p.m. Place: Wildwood Park Pavilion, Marshfield Total Cost per Person: $20.00 (Breakdown per person: Food $10 Pavilion $2 Beverages $5 Postage $.50 The remaining $2.50 is reserved for decorations and financial wiggle room.) We'd love to know a little about your life, so send us the important stuff you feel is relevant, like what you're doing now that's most important to you. Are you in any groups or have you taken up a special hobby? Maybe you've received a special award or done some traveling. Don't worry about the usual stats, just give us the ones you'd like to share. Just a little warning here -- if you don't send us some info -- we're going to make some up for you. Really. ;) We also thought it would be nice to let the community know that the AHS students of 1978 not only have class, but we also have heart, so donations will be accepted for the Nicole Johnson Medical Fund. Nicole will be a sophomore this year at AHS and could use a little community support. She was in an auto accident that left her a quadriplegic and her insurance is not adequate to provide her with the care she needs. If you'd like to donate, please send or bring a dollar or two along. She and her family will surely appreciate it. Since we're inviting numerous teachers, please feel free to let us know if you have any special memories or amusing stories to tell us about a teacher who was important in your life. I think we all had at least one, so don't hesitate to give them credit. Teachers -- the same goes for you in reverse -- tell us your best memories about the Class of '78. Everyone, keep the stories upbeat and avoid embarrassing anyone. The committee does reserve the right to scrutinize all submissions before printing. Use your judgement! We're also trying to set up an afternoon of golf, tours of the high school and an evening of tailgating, high school football and possibly some liquid refreshments afterwards, so check the site for updates!
